Residing in Canada under the skill category

Have you ever heard of skilled immigration policy and know the conditions to apply for it?

It can also be said that if you have good qualifications, then settling in Canada should be your preferred choice. If you are interested?

Let’s spend time with me to find out what prerequisites this Canadian immigration policy requires. From there, you can quickly complete your application and be easily approved by the Consulate General to settle in Canada.

Canada has 3 skilled migration programs that you need to consider, including: Canada Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs and Quebec-selected skilled worker.

The advantage of this program over the provincial settlement program is that the candidate can stay in any state they desire without any commitment between provinces. However, this program has more difficult conditions and requirements for settlements than the provincial program.

Provincial skilled migration depends on the policies of each province, different places will have different settlements. You will need to submit your application to the province.

And when you meet, you will be guaranteed to issue a Permanent Resident card. This program is committed to the time you live in the province where you apply.

Quebec is a special province among 13 Canadian provinces because it has its own government. Therefore, Quebec also has a policy of settling in its own workmanship. Beginning in 2018, this program has made new changes in the scoring system.

Besides the new points calculation, Quebec also changed the Expression of Interest System. Due to historical characteristics, Quebec is not governed by the federal government but has its own legislative power. Compared to other provinces, the policy of skilled migration is relatively more difficult here.

In particular, candidates will be assessed based on 6 criteria: language, education, experience, age, job placement in Canada and adaptability. If the old rule was that only applicants who had 3 months of full-time work experience in Quebec would be graded. So the new program would require a working period of at least 6 months.

Visiting the city of Montreal, Canada

Montreal is located in Quebec City on an island in the heart of the Saint Lawrence. It is the second largest city in Canada and home to the largest French-speaking community in the world besides France. However, more than half of Montreal’s population can speak both French and English well.

Montreal is where you can admire the contemporary architecture often seen in Europe. It is also home to a number of suburbs in the southeast of North America. It was founded in the 17th century and is known as “Old Montreal”.

Montreal used to be Canada’s industrial and financial center, which you can see through old factories and processing plants. Many of these buildings have been renovated for different purposes, such as opening restaurants or bars.

Montreal owns over 50 national historical sites. Among them are many churches bearing an ancient character such as Notre-Dame Roman Catholic Church.

It is for this reason that writer Mark Twain called Montreal a city “hundred bell towers”. Other monuments include the Bank of Montreal, the Lachine Canal and the Montreal Gymnasium.

McGill University – one of Canada’s most prestigious universities – is located in Montreal. The main campus of the school is located at the foot of the Royal Mountain. Besides, Université de Montréal, Université du Québec à Montréal and Concordia University are also reliable names.

It would be flawed if you do not enjoy poutine, wood-burning round cake or Shish Taouk in Montreal. You will not have to worry about being hungry because Montreal has a wide variety of food options as well as shops, eateries everywhere.

Montreal has a thriving film industry and is the location for many American movies and TV series. Films such as 300, The Aviator, Catch Me If You Can, Lucky Number Slevin and The Notebook have all been filmed in Montreal.

What is a Job Offer? Why Canadian immigration need to know this

For an applicant who needs a Job Offer to qualify for the Express Entry system. Express Entry is a program that has been implemented by CIC since 2015. This program was established with the purpose that applicants can complete the procedure quickly and set foot in Canada in the shortest time.

Understanding Job Offer is very important. Candidates with Job Offer from businesses supported by LMIA will have the opportunity to process applications faster than other candidates.

Where still the same employer wants to extend the working period to long term. If the employee’s previous job does not require LMIA, the new LMIA will be required to attach when applying to the Express Entry system.

A quality Job offer means that the job it offers must meet continuity, full time. Working time is at least 30 hour for week. And a job offer contract has a term of at least 1 year.

In most cases, the employer will send you:

  • A job offer in which the job offer is LMIA-rated. In which the Canadian career and social development agency stated that business owners are eligible to provide job offers.
  • The ID number the employer receives when applying for a job offer on the business portal if LMIA is not needed.
When you receive one of these documents you can apply for a work permit.

This job offer needs to be assessed for its impact on the LMIA labor school. If the business owner offers you a job offer that lacks one of the basic conditions above, then you should consider carefully getting this job offer.

Job offers can only be redeemed when the owner of the job offer receives an LMIA impact assessment. You must still register for Job Bank if your job offer is not supported to assess the impact on the Canadian labor market.

A valid job offer (whether you work in Canada or not) if the business offers a job offer:

  • Provide a permanent, full-time and non-seasonal job if you live in Canada as a permanent resident.
  • This job offer is required to evaluate its impact on the labor market

Is the Canadian climate really as harsh as you think

For many people, when they intend to study abroad in Canada, their parents and students immediately think of the extremely harsh, cold and cold weather. But is the weather in Canada really as hot as you think?

Ottawa, the capital of Canada, is also the 4th largest city in the country. Ottawa is located in the Ottawa river valley, the area separating the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

Canada’s population is unevenly distributed due to historical, climate and economic development factors. The majority of Canadians live in southern Ontario and Quebec, southwestern British Columbia and Alberta. The northern region has very low population density due to extreme weather.

The country is vast with nature’s endowments bestowed with different types of landscapes. In addition, Canada is also home to many rivers and lakes. Stretching from east to west, from the 4th time zone to the 9th time zone, Canada has a very diverse climate.

Like the landscape, the climate in Canada is diverse and different across regions across the country. The snow and snow cover the north all year round but in the densely populated plains, the south is divided into 4 distinct seasons.

For first-time visitors to Canada, the cold and snow in the winter can make it difficult to adapt right away. These places have a pleasant climate, not harsh but the population and economy are extremely developed.

Thus, it can be seen that Canada is a country with a differentiated climate by region and season. However, when you first came to Canada, many of you were still socked by the sudden change of weather.

In order to adapt to the weather, in Canada, heating systems are installed both in the home and in the car. Public transportation is also heated. Some cities also install fireplaces for walkways from buildings to schools.
